MSP – the leading manufacturer of stampings and springs – is thrilled to be exhibiting their engineered solution for spring application, critical to the aerospace and defence industries, in the FIA2022 at stand 1030.
The global aerospace and defence community have eagerly been waiting to reconvene for the Farnborough International Airshow after its two-year hiatus following the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, the 2022 Airshow represents a fresh start for leading manufacturers, with expectations that it will exceed the 2018 show in terms of exhibitors and trade attendees, predicted to have around 80,000 visitors from around 50 countries.
Taking place from Monday 18th July to Friday 22nd July, Neil Matthews, MSP’s Managing Director and his team are eagerly looking forward to this year’s event.
Neil says, “The FIA2022 is the leading global aerospace trade event of the year, and our team at MSP are thrilled to have the opportunity to exhibit our best-engineered solutions and manufacturing expertise to attendees. After a difficult few years globally, this event allows the industry to reconnect with the aerospace and defence communities so that leading innovators can collaborate with one another.”
“With over 55 years of experience in the aerospace and defence industry, we are looking forward to reconnecting with the industry community and are excited to have a platform to demonstrate our expertise in one of the leading trade events of the year. Some of our best engineers will be available at stand 1030 to discuss and answer all inquiries and questions, as well as helping to inspire and inform the next generation with our key industry expertise.”
While the event is strictly closed to all but trade guests and media, the general public can attend the final day of the show and take part in an array of activities, speak to leading industry experts, and benefit from the dedicated careers hub, which provides a platform for students, graduates and young professionals to access topical seminars and a live jobs board.
Neil explores, “With the current industry skills gap that has persistently been widening over the last couple of years, the FIA2022 is the perfect place for young professionals seeking advice and dedicated industry support, as they can speak to globally recognised companies on-site and become inspired by the future of the industry.”
This year, the FIA2022 is structured around six primary themes that are vital to the industry’s future, from space, to workforce, and sustainability, all the themes are designed to allow experts to explore future opportunities and propel businesses forward in achieving their aims.
Neil says, “At MSP, we have witnessed how the industry has changed over the last few years as the growing importance of trends like space and sustainability have altered long-term business aims. We are keen to discuss and explore the enormous potentials of these themes with our community, particularly as this past year we have introduced various sustainability initiatives as part of our long-term goals.”
